Tiny, dusty creatures - the Wheezers - live in a dilapidated washing machine. Mitten, a driven non-binary Wheezer, wants to work in the operating system, but only male Wheezers are allowed there. Mitten goes on an adventure to figure out where they belong but ends up challenging the whole system of the washing machine.
